How to Play

Fill the entire 8×8 board with 11 tiles. Three grey tiles are already placed — arrange the remaining 8 colored tiles to fill every empty cell.

Choose a Level

Pick a difficulty — Easy, Medium, Hard, or Nightmare — to play puzzles in order of increasing challenge. Or tap Random Puzzle for a surprise.

Place a Tile

• Drag & drop a tile from the piece tray onto the board.
• Or tap a tile to select it (highlighted in yellow), then tap an empty cell on the board to place it.

Rotate a Tile

• Tap an already-selected tile again to rotate it 90°.

Remove a Tile

• Drag a placed tile off the board to return it to the tray.
• Or tap a placed tile on the board to pick it back up.

Controls

• ◀ / ▶ — navigate between puzzles in a level.
• Random — load a random puzzle.

Offline

Octile works offline with 88 random puzzles and 22 puzzles per level. Scores sync when you reconnect.

Every puzzle has a solution. Take your time — this is about thinking, not speed.
