By using Octile ("the App"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Use of the App

Octile is a puzzle game for personal, non-commercial use.
You may play the App on any device you own or control.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by applicable law.

Accounts

Creating an account is optional. You can play the App without signing in.
If you create an account, we send a one-time sign-in link to your email — no password required.
You must provide a valid email address. We may suspend accounts created with fraudulent information.
You can sign out at any time. Signing out clears game data from the local device but preserves your data on our server for future sign-in.

Virtual Currency and In-Game Items

Octile features diamonds (virtual currency) and premium themes that are earned through gameplay — achievements, daily check-in, and puzzle solving.
Diamonds and themes have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real currency.
There are no in-app purchases. All content is earnable through gameplay.
We reserve the right to adjust diamond rewards, theme costs, or the virtual economy for game balance purposes.

Identity

Octile does not require account creation. Your identity is tied to your Steam account.
Your Steam ID is used for leaderboard entries and score deduplication. No email or password is collected.
A randomly generated display name is assigned for leaderboard visibility. This is not linked to your Steam profile name.

Daily Challenge and Leaderboard

The Daily Challenge leaderboard records puzzle solve times. You are identified by a randomly generated name or your display name if signed in.
You agree not to submit fraudulent scores, use automated tools, or otherwise manipulate the leaderboard.
We reserve the right to remove scores or restrict access for suspicious activity.

Intellectual Property

Octile, including its design, puzzles, themes, code, and assets, is the property of its developer.
The puzzle set was discovered through original mathematical research and is protected by copyright.

Paid App

Octile is a paid app with no ads and no subscriptions.
Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the App.
Refund policies are governed by the app store where you purchased the App (Google Play, Apple App Store)Steam's refund policy.

Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
We are not liable for any data loss, device issues, or other damages arising from use of the App.
Leaderboard availability and online features depend on server uptime and are not guaranteed.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Octile 包含鑽石（虛擬貨幣）和高級主題，均透過遊玩獲得 — 包括成就、每日簽到和解謎。
鑽石和主題沒有真實貨幣價值，不可兌換為真實貨幣。
沒有應用內購買。所有內容均可通過遊玩獲得。
我們保留因遊戲平衡需要而調整鑽石獎勵、主題價格或虛擬經濟的權利。

身份識別

Octile 不需要建立帳號。您的身份與 Steam 帳號綁定。
您的 Steam ID 用於排行榜和分數去重。我們不收集電子郵件或密碼。
系統會自動分配一個隨機顯示名稱用於排行榜。此名稱與您的 Steam 個人資料名稱無關。

每日挑戰與排行榜

每日挑戰排行榜記錄解謎時間。您以隨機生成的名稱或登入後的顯示名稱顯示。
您同意不提交虛假分數、不使用自動化工具，也不以其他方式操縱排行榜。
我們保留移除分數或限制可疑活動存取的權利。

智慧財產權

Octile 及其設計、謎題、主題、程式碼和素材均為其開發者的財產。
謎題集為原創數學研究成果，受版權保護。

付費應用

Octile 為付費應用，無廣告、無訂閱。
您的購買授予您個人的、不可轉讓的使用許可。
退款政策由您購買本應用的應用商店（Google Play、Apple App Store）Steam 退款政策管理。

免責聲明

本應用按「現狀」提供，不附帶任何形式的保證。
我們不對因使用本應用而產生的任何資料遺失、裝置問題或其他損害承擔責任。
排行榜可用性及線上功能取決於伺服器運行狀態，不作保證。

條款變更

我們可能會不時更新這些條款。變更將在此頁面發布並更新生效日期。繼續使用本應用即表示接受更新後的條款。
